So, my other post was about what we did during Pre-UIL, but if your interested in what we played at UIL, this post is for you. SO, the first song that we played is called “The BIG CIRCUS MARCH” and it is a fun and bouncy piece of music that sounds like music you would here at a parade of a circus, thus the name. The second sheet of music was called “GATHERING IS THE GLEN” which is a pieces that is very calm, collected and relaxed. It contains a lot of long and smooth notes and rhythms, this music took me a little while to get used to because it took up a lot of air to play and sustain notes, but it was a fun pieces to play. And the last song we played for the concert was “CASCADIA CEREBRATION”, this song sounds just like the tittle, this song is fun, strong, and articulation heavy. This one is my favorite out of all of the song that we played for our performance. Then, for the sight reading portion of UIL, we played American pride, this song we had no idea how to play, but we managed and played it greatly. Also, have a great day!
